Bell, Howardsville, Va., requests Mitchell to act as agent in the manufacture and shipping of a carriage and cover from Brewster and Company, Broadway, for a Mrs. Pollard [his mother-in-law?]. He also requests Mitchell to pay the assessments on his copper stock, discusses difficulties in a bill for the hire of a hack while in New York, and sends news of family and weather.
